Our preschool program is based on current best practice and is supported by the Australian Federal Government Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).  The principles, practice and outcomes of EYLF guide our reflective planning and practice.

About Our Director

Belinda

Director, Teacher,
Nominated Supervisor

Belinda is our Director and Nominated supervisor. Belinda completed a Diploma in children's services in 1999, before going on and completing a bachelor of teaching in 2012. She has post graduate qualifications in Autism and has completed a certificate IV in training and assessment. With a passion for inclusion she is able to  guide and support children and families with concerns around their child’s development, the assessment process, early intervention, behaviour management and supports, developing Individual Education Plans (ILP), referrals to Allied Health Services, and transition to school.

Belinda is responsible for the legal and day to day responsibility for managing the preschool. The Director is also accountable to the management committee and has a responsibility to report on the management of WHS, staffing, advocacy, professional development, waiting list, funding applications, policies and the quality improvement plan. As the director she works collaboratively with staff, the committee and families to ensure the smooth running of the preschool.

The Learning Environment

Our educators work together to design environments that promote engaging discovery spaces, these change depending on the children interest over the term . They allow for investigation, thinking and collaboration as well as independent learning. There are spaces that allow for research based projects where children work with their educators to further their learning and interests.
